Handcrafted Silver Sets

All of the following sets are made with ArtClay. Art Clay Silver is composed of 1-20 micron sized silver particles, organic binders,and water. Once completely dried and fired, the remaining piece is 99.9% pure silver. I recieved my ACS certification in June 2005 with instructor Louise Duhamel. See a link to her site on my links page. All prices are before S&H. Most include pierced earrings but can be changed to clips. Questions? just ask!

Lilly of the Valley ... I made the pendant 3 yrs ago was just waiting for the perfect beads! $90.

This newest piece in a three part series is strung with a hint of blue glass with green pearls. I did this piece while wishing for spring to come and get rid of winters greys. You can see bits of blue sky peaking threw the light green of the new shoots coming up from the ground. $140

This is the second in the series done with white topaz and silver. I created this while watching the last of winters snow melt and glisten with all its greys whites and hope for spring. $140.

Beneth the Sea & On the Shore. This piece is a handcrafted double sided silver pendant strung with bluegrey freshwater pearls,solidate,& glass.

I created this piece after looking at my photos from NC outerbanks trip years ago. The waves and the shore... organic and geometric in harmony.

Double sided delight. Two textures one brick like and the other chain like accentuated by garnet colored glass.

In honor of her strength. This piece was done in amethest glass, and white pearls to remind me of a dear friend who loved purple and had passed on. She liked bigger pieces and this piece would have pleased her with its victorian flare and strong bold look.

Dragonfly in flight. I created this hollow bead in silver with cz's imbedded into the bead and strung with glass and freshwater pearls. I love dragonflies and have always enjoyed watching them. This is an homage to my teacher Judy Hatch who wrote "the dragonfly of lookout mountain"

Under Atlantis.... This looks like something that was dug up from the ruins of an ancient beautiful world. I created this using silver and dicroic glass strung with mother of pearl, glass, and pearls.

Wind.... I created this using one of my favorite stamps by Stamp Zia Entitled Wind. It is on a sterling chain and accented with glass beads.

Third in the series called Sunshine. Done with Citrine this is truely a bit of sunshine. I did this on one of the rare sunny days in Rochester! $sold

Gem in the Forest. This piece is handcrafted with dicroic glass and silver then strung with yellow torquoise,labadorite,& freshwater pearls.

I did this piece as an homage to all the peaceful walks I used to take in the Adirondack woods surrounded by ferns.

Pearls and Pods. This piece was created by handweaving sterling silver then sewing in the silver freshwater pearls. The pendant/pod is created of ACS and a pearl.

I designed this piece after thinking about journeys and how we are all intertwined. The pearls represent people or events and the the pod represents new life joining the family.

Beauty of the Geode or Druzy. Handcrafted with ACS, agate and freshwater pearls. I did this piece after seeing my friends collection of Druzy. I loved the way it sparkled and remembered opening a geode as a child and being mezmorized by the insides.

Visions of Home. This piece is one of my box series. This has trees and is where I close my eyes and picture the woods behind my childhood home in the Adirondacks. This is strung with hematite, marble, and glass.

Feather box. This is the second in my box series. This was created after visiting peacocks at a local nursery called the Trolly Bed. The peacocks colors were beautiful. This is so I could hold the beauty they have in my hand for the day.
